What is the i-Five project?

Four research institutes (Cemagref, AgroParisTech-ENGREF, Seecon and the RBA at TU Delft) and their local partners in France, Germany and The Netherlands have set up the i-Five project in response to the 1st IWRM-NET Joint Call for transnational research projects Towards Effective River Basin Plans.

i-Five stands for Innovative Instruments and Institutions in Implementing the WFD. The project is now in the final stages. On the document pages, the three case reports (on the Thau in France, Lower Weser in Germany and Brabantse Delta in The Netherlands) and the cross-case comparison can be found.

Training and dissemination activities are now underway. The final results of the project will be presented at the IWRM-net conference in Brussels on 1-3 December 2010. On the 3rd of December there will be an international workshop where we will present and discuss the results of the i-Five project.
